Well, I found them finally Shocked . They were mighty enough to spoil the cabin air for a few weeks already. It took me a while to figure out what could be the source of a strange smell. Nasty smell, and it was getting stronger and stronger every day. Puke

My wife use this car for her daily commute, and she started complaining really hard. I can't blame her, so I had to find the source. We suspected this were mice, and I spent countless hours under the dashboard and in other hidden areas of the passanger compartment. No luck. Head bang I could not imagine those guys would build their nest inside the blower No way! And then they were trapped in blower door and died Good Night

Now I'm deciding whether to try and disassemble the blower completely to clean up valve doors of their shit and replace the foam, or to call it a day and to go buy a new half of a blower for $60? Any advice, please?
Oh, yeah, this is 03' Si.

After some hesitation I decided I give it a try and clean and fix it. It took a day of soaking in a soap water, brushing with the old toothbrush, and drying, then replacing damaged foam with a weatherseal. Now it's back and does not smell any more Very Happy

I can honestly say I have not ever experienced this before but my recommendation is to get some mice traps and place them in the area where your vehicle is parked. The pics were so sad they were only trying to stay warm, but the smell I am certain was absolutely disgusting! Mice tend to find warmth in the winter so get those traps out so you won't have to experience them again. Laughing :lol

Oh my goodness that sounds horrible. Yeah mice traps is definitely the best idea for you so it does not happen again. The smell, oh I can only imagine. In my apartment a nasty smell like that was in the hallway at one time and it was discovered that one of the tenants had died, ugh. The worst smell.

I'm hoping you're referring to a tenant mouse? Shocked
