I'm currently traveling to Canada (Manitoba province) and will be here for about 6months.

I'm a resident of Kenya and would like to know for how long I can drive in Canada with my Kenya driving license.

Welcome here and nice to meet you fkasmani. Do you hold an international driving license? Because it is unlikely that you will be permitted to drive in Canada with a kenyan driving license and will require an international permit instead.

Umm, frankly I am not sure either. Just to be on a safe side, I would get an international license. According to that site, you can drive with such a license for a year there http://www.justlanded.com/english/Canada/Canada-Guide/Travel-Leisure/Driving Smile

Thanks,

I'm already in Canada and do not have an IDL at the moment.

I checked the CAA web site and they're only issuing to Canadian residents, so it's not applicable to me.
How about a service like *link snipped*

You wouldn't be able to drive in Canada with a Kenyan license, get an international driving license as others had said.
