If it is raining, you can invariably see a number of cars with fogged windows moving on the street. Their drivers (for some reason they usually are women) are struggling hard to see at least something on the road, and use all available means to make short-lived transparent spots on the windshield, let alone side and back windows. No doubt, this kind of driving is very stressful and dangerous.

I always feel for those drivers, as obviously their mother or farther, or whoever taught them to drive, never told them what to do in such a situation. The solution is easy, as always: turn on your a/c, and your windows will clean up in a matter of seconds! Or, if you do not have a/c, or it does not work, turning your heater slightly on, pointing the flow to the windshield, and opening slightly at least one window will help, too.

better yet. Rainex makes an anti-fog spray coating for the inside of the windshield.

I love rainex

I use it on every vehicle I drive.

I'm planning on covertly Rainexing my mothers windshield (she fears change)

I can drive through a downpour and my vision never drops below 90%
I never even have to turn on the wipers

and by the way.. they shouldn't be driving with fogged up windshields. its a good way to kill someone.

Are you talking about inside or outside? Not clear, because windows get fogged from inside, but wipers are outside Smile Or you are using your magic rainex (never heard of it by the way) on both sides?

just did a search... its rain-x, not rainex

heres a link to the rain and fog product at Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/RainX-Glass-Treatment-%2b-Anti-Fog/dp/B0002VC0KK/sr=8-3/qid=1161225423/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-0734155-6044866?ie=UTF8&s=hi

the rain-x goes on the outside of the windshield
the rain-x defogger goes on the inside

(I really think that it's the same stuff, but I won't experiment unless I run out of one of the products)
