New forum started: Our Sponsors

You probably know that running a web site costs money. There are many expenses like equipment, bandwidth, and advertising costs - just to name major ones. I have to offset those costs somehow. I can charge you for using this site, I can pay all expenses from the pocket, or I can have our sponsors covering all or at least part of our expenses.

Since the idea of the site is to share driving experience, I do not think it is appropriate to charge for that. My personal money definitely pays most of the charges so far, but I do not have unlimited money to spend on this, so I want to move this burden to sponsors as much as I can. However, sponsors do not pay for nothing, they run their businesses and do not like to throw money away.

They pay me for advertising their products. Now, I’m not advertising all the possible things around. I do have personal experience with many products and services, and if this experience is positive and company is willing to advertise on my site, I include it in the sponsors list. Those ads and ads by Google are all what I have on this site.

I’m asking you for help. If you like the site, please click on my ads time to time. This does not cost you a penny, and this will go a long way in supporting the site you like. I have ads spread all over the site – I’m trying to keep them in check – if you think there is too much, please let me know. I also have “Our Sponsors” forum now - go check them out, you might find something usefull for yourself, too.
