Hey today i have been reading some of interesting articles about electric cars are environmental friendly cars, non polluted cars etc etc....

but i was wondering why we are only thinking & talking about this electric cars which again needs power which is produced by burning coal, gas, oil, nuclear etc...

Their are many experiment are going on using different types of fuels like: air, water, iron

LINKS SNIPPED

Yes, my question is the

1. using electric cars really we can save the environment ?
2.If we wish 100% cars gone to electrical is really we are efficient to match up the power supply?

3.which fuel option do u prefer except regular once please.

I don't know much of fuels which are under research but if you will know please update

1. I really doubt it. You have to produce and store electricity, and those things have a big environmental footprint.

2. Not sure I understood

3. Premium? Wink

I am a strong believer in a status quo, and if oil currently is the most popular fuel, that means it is currently the best fuel overall. Smile

My answers:

  1. using electric cars [can we really] save the environment ?

    1. If we charge the electric cars with renewable energy sources like wind or solar, I think it will help. To completely save the environment, we need to remove human greed from the equation.

  2. If we wish 100% cars gone to electrical is really we are efficient to match up the power supply?

    1. I can't figure out what you are asking.

  3. which fuel option do u prefer except regular [ones] please.

    1. (Referring to power plants:) I am thinking that solar generation of electric power will beat wind power eventually, so I will go with solar.
