LOL MOW, most males are like that. I was exactly like that at some point, and I changed a lot since. So don't worry, he will eventually change, too Smile

Very Happy ah...some hope then! Meanwhile, he wanted to drive me to a nice place for dinner for valentine's, but before he could say another word, I told him we should order in food! you reckon, this 'change' you're talking about will happen in the next 24 days? Hmm...I guess not... Rolling Eyes

I always get frustrated When i get in traffic behind a old lady driver. I suggest a separate lane for people more than 50 years old.

Funny, but of course you know that will never fly. Older citizens vote. Younger ones seldom do, or don't vote in the percentage of their population. There's is a better chance of getting a law passed that keeps people off the roads until they're fifty.

Also, maybe, it could help, if you could think of that older person as your mom or grand mom, or as a favorite aunt, until you find an opening to overtake and to pass her car.

I would imagine that the traffic flow would be smoother, and though the traffic would move at slower speeds, the lane may in fact become the faster lane. If the lane was restricted to folks over fifty, all the hot shot younger folks would crowd in the so-called faster lanes, where there would be more accidents, more delay, more bumper to bumper driving, more road rage.

Just a thought.

Oh I agree, but maybe 50 is not the problem. People are generally still sharp enough until they head into their mind 60's from what I have seen anyway. I would say anyone over 65 should not have their license.

Check out this blog. Clover was attached to a former poster on the site who insited that blocking traffic in the left lane was their god given right.

Sorry about the link. I have to plead ignorance. If anyone is interested just search bad driving clover.
